When she was 12, she was the third fastest all-time top 100 age group performers in the 50 and 100 breast; Those times currently rank fifth and sixth in her age group in USA Swimming history.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>SwimmingWorld:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Northeastern University! Coach Roy and his team have made me feel extremely welcomed and excited for my future in Boston. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past few years, especially my family, friends, coaches, and teachers. GO, HUSKIES!!!&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>\n<p>Wu does her club swimming with Rockville Montgomery Swim Club and competed at the NCSA Championships back in March where she finaled in the 50 breast.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>In 2018, she was one of the youngest swimmers at Winter Nationals, having turned 14 a week prior to the meet. She&#8217;s a Potomac Valley Swimming record holder in both yards and meters.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p>She has also attended USA Swimming&#8217;s Zone Select Camp, National Diversity Select Camp and NCSA&#8217;s NCSA Select Camp.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Her best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 breast &#8211; 29.19<\/li>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 1:02.22<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:16.90<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 2:07.47<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A soon-to-be graduate of Holton-Arms School, Wu placed second in the 100 breast and ninth in the 100 fly at the Metro Championships back in February.
