Kara Hanlon Sets Scottish 100 Breast Record At Glasgow International"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Duncan Scott<\/strong> and <strong>Abbie Wood<\/strong> added the 200 free to their 200IM titles on day two of the <strong>Glasgow International Swim Meet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimscotland.co.uk\/meets23\/GISM23\/index.htm\">Link to results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/katie-shanahan-wins-two-medals-in-as-many-races-at-glasgow-international-swim-meet\/\">Day 1 Report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Glasgow meet runs from 26-28 May at\u00a0<strong>Tollcross International Swimming Centre<\/strong>\u00a0and gives swimmers the chance for competition with the Fukuoka worlds two months away.<\/p>\n<p>Scott &#8211; who won the short medley in a meet mark of 1:59.08 on Friday &#8211; reached halfway with a 0.13 lead over <strong>Jack McMillan<\/strong> in 52.32.<\/p>\n<p>The 2019 world bronze medallist pulled away on the third 50 before coming home in 1:47.93 despite McMillan&#8217;s attempts to reel him in on the final 50.<\/p>\n<p>McMillan was second in 1:48.19 with <strong>Evan Jones<\/strong> third in 1:50.53, holding off the late charge of <strong>Joe Litchfield<\/strong> to take third by 0.03.<\/p>\n<p><em>Scott splits<\/em>: 24.93\/52.32\/1:19.80\/1:47.93 (28.13).<\/p>\n<p>Like Scott, Wood had won the short medley on the first evening and she kept Lucy Hope at bay in the 200 free throughout, winning in 1:59.06.<\/p>\n<p>Hope (1:59.24) and <strong>Medi Harris<\/strong> (1:59.35) took the minor placings.<\/p>\n<h3>Glasgow Gold For McSharry &amp;
