Schnell added the 10-meter platform women\u2019s title. It\u2019s the second title of the week for Schnell, who also won platform synchro with <strong>Jessica Parratto.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Both divers qualify for the 2023 World Aquatics Championships in Fukuoka, Japan. Bick<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Capobianco, a silver medalist in 3-meter at the Tokyo Olympics and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-mens-championships-andrew-capobianco-wins-third-title-on-3-meter-diving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the reigning NCAA champion in the event for Indiana University<\/a>, scored 887.20 points over his two lists. He sealed his fifth career national title (four of them on individual 3-meter) with a score of 94.50 on his reverse three-and-a-half tuck in the final.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I thought I had some good things from each list,\u201d Capobianco <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamusa.org\/USA-Diving\/News\/2023\/May\/23\/Capobianco-Schnell-Win-Individual-Titles-at-National-Championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told USA Diving<\/a>. \u201cFor me, I think the thing that I was most happy about was the consistency of my backs and reverses. That\u2019s something that we\u2019ve been really working on, especially after Montreal, where I had pretty big misses on those dives. It was nice that all the work we put in last week \u2013 I did a lot of backs and reverses last week \u2013 paid off. We just need to dial in on the little things.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Downs, who won 3-meter synchro with Purdue teammate <strong>Greg Duncan<\/strong> earlier in the week, took silver with a score of 835.30. Capobianco\u2019s Indiana teammate <strong>Quinn Henninger<\/strong> was third with 792.35 points, passed by Downs during finals. <strong>Jack Ryan<\/strong> of Stanford, winner of the 1-meter men\u2019s and 3-meter mixed synchro crowns, finished fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Schnell continued a hot spring that has included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-womens-championships-delaney-schnell-gets-platform-gold\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a long-awaited NCAA gold on platform<\/a>, two medals at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/world-championships-delaney-schnell-earns-pair-of-synchro-diving-medals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World Aquatics World Cup meet in Montreal<\/a> and platform synchro gold at nationals with Parratto, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/olympics-jessica-parratto-delaney-schnell-capture-silver-for-u-s-in-10-meter-synchro-diving\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with whom she won an Olympic silver medal in Tokyo<\/a>. Schnell scored 689.05 points to nab her fifth career national title. She was well clear of the field, with USC\u2019s Agunbiade second in 613.95.
