NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Arizona State University has received a new verbal commitment for the 2024-25 season and beyond from Catherine Vaughan\u00a0<\/b>of Tampa, Florida.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I couldn\u2019t be more grateful to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at Arizona State University. I absolutely would not be the athlete I am today without the steadfast support of my parents, coaches, teammates, and friends. I can\u2019t thank you guys enough, as well as the coaching staff of\u00a0@sundevilswimdive<\/a>\u00a0for giving me this opportunity. Looking forward to the next four in Tempe \ud83d\ude08\u00a0#forksup<\/a>“<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

A talented sprint freestyler and backstroker, Vaughan trains year-round with Tampa Bay Aquatics and won the 50 free and 50 back at the Spring Area 3 Championships back in February. Last summer, she earned two personal bests at Cary Futures.<\/p>\n
