Saturday will feature the 500 free, 100 butterfly, 200 breaststroke, 100 IM, 50 backstroke, 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay. Sunday\u2019s final session will include the 400 IM, 50 free, 200 butterfly, 100 backstroke, 200 free, 50 breast and mixed medley relay.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usms.org\/events\/national-championships\/pool-national-championships\/2023-pool-national-championships\/2023-spring-national-championship\/2023-spring-nationals-heat-sheets-results-timeline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/masters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More Masters Coverage<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Several of the big names in the meet claimed USMS victories on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nathan Adrian<\/strong> won the 50 butterfly in the 30-34 age group in 21.32.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laura Val<\/strong> added another couple of wins to her growing list of USMS championships over the years. Now in the 70-74 age group, she won the 200 backstroke in 2:26.12. She also won the 100 free in 59.89.<\/p>\n<p>Twelve-time Olympic medalist <strong>Jenny Thompson<\/strong> won the 50-54 USMS 50 butterfly race in 25.70, faster than several younger age groups. Thompson also won the 100 freestyle in 52.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grant Shoults<\/strong> was a winner again on Friday, taking the 500 freestyle in 4:21.19. His time was best in the 25-29 age group and all of the age groups with swimmers all the way up to the 90-94 age group in the event. Shoults also won the 100 free in 44.51.<\/p>\n<p>New York Athletic Club&#8217;s <strong>Ally Howe<\/strong> won the 200 backstroke in the 25-29 age group. The former Stanford NCAA record holder got to the wall in 1:56.74. Felicia Lee won the 30-34 race in 2:03.47.<\/p>\n<p>Howe also won the 200 IM in 2:00.10. Lee also took second in the 50 fly.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s 100 breast, 50-54 age group, Nova&#8217;s <strong>Steve West<\/strong> won the race in 57.09.
