NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Auburn University has earned a verbal pledge for the 2024-25 season and beyond from\u00a0Bella Ekk\u00a0<\/strong>of Tallahassee, Florida, who is a Junior National qualifier.<\/p>\n

She’ll join\u00a0Georgia Colborn<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Auburn’s Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am extremely honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Auburn University! I am so grateful to God, my family, my friends, my community & my supportive coaches for getting me to experience this opportunity. I\u2019m excited to be part of an amazing Auburn Family & ready to attain my goals! Thank you Coach rwochomurka & the supportive coaching staff for this opportunity. To my family & friends: You helped uplift me, cheer for me & love me. I can\u2019t wait to be a part of such an amazing and supportive team!! WAR EAGLE”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ekk trains year-round with Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club and most recently competed at the Florida Senior Championships where she earned two silvers, two bronzes and had one fifth-place finish. She earned a best time in the 500 free at Juniors East back in December, too.<\/p>\n
