Tennessee took home three awards and eight All- SEC spots (six men, two women). LSU contributed eight athletes to the women\u2019s All- SEC squad.<\/p>\n<p>Gators coach <strong>Anthony Nesty<\/strong> was named the men\u2019s and women\u2019s swimmer coach of the year <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/2023-sec-championships-night-5-kensey-mcmahon-reclaims-mile-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">after leading both squads to SEC titles<\/a>. That Gators also have the freshman of the year in both genders, via <strong>Josh<\/strong> <strong>Liendo<\/strong> and <strong>Zoe Dixon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/sec-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SEC Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tennessee\u2019s diving program joined Crooks in the awards. <strong>Bryden Hattie,<\/strong> who joins Crooks and Texas A&amp;M\u2019s <strong>Baylor Nelson<\/strong> in sharing the Commissioner\u2019s Trophy for points scored at the SEC Championships, was named SEC diver of the year, with <strong>Nick Stone<\/strong> as men\u2019s freshman diver of the year.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to MacNeil, LSU\u2019s <strong>Drew Livingston<\/strong> was named the women\u2019s diving coach of the year. South Carolina\u2019s <strong>Brooke Schultz<\/strong> is the women\u2019s diver of the year for the fourth time in her career (twice with the Gamecocks and twice at Arkansas). Texas A&amp;M\u2019s <strong>Jay Larew<\/strong> is the men\u2019s diving coach of the year, and the Aggies\u2019 <strong>Joslyn Oakley<\/strong> was named the top women\u2019s freshman
