COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – USA Swimming announced it will host a stop on the FINA World Cup circuit on Dec. 1-2, 1998 in College Station, TX. The U.S. has never participated in the World Cup, which has traditionally been held in Europe, Asia and South America. “I think it opens a whole new world of competition and whole new wave of publicity for the sport,” said Jon Olsen, 1996 Olympic team captain. <\/p>\n
