The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its NCAA Men’s Division I award winners and All-Americans for the 2022-2023\u00a0season.<\/p>\n

Awards are determined by a nationwide vote of CSCAA-member Division I head swimming coaches and diving coaches.\u00a0All-Americans are selected on the basis of their finish at the NCAA\u00a0Championships and a team’s current membership with the CSCAA.\u00a0 Only student-athletes who competed in their championship finals are eligible for All-America Honors. NCAA relays & individuals must\u00a0score in the top 8 to\u00a0earn first-team honors while those who finish ninth through sixteenth earn second-team honors.<\/p>\n

Men’s Division I Coach of the Year Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After securing California’s second-straight\u00a0team title, coach Dave Durden<\/strong> was recognized by his peers as the\u00a0Men’s Swim Coach of the Year. The Men’s\u00a0Dive Coach of the Year award was earned by Indiana’s\u00a0Drew Johansen <\/strong>after his divers\u00a0<\/strong>contributed\u00a0104 points to the Hoosiers fourth-place finish in the team standings.<\/p>\n

Men’s Division I Athlete of the Year Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Men’s Swimmer of the Year award was won by the only three-event champion of the meet, L\u00e9on Marchand\u00a0<\/strong>of Arizona State University, while Ohio State’s\u00a0Lyle Yost<\/strong>\u00a0earned the Men’s Diver of the Year award after winning the high-point with\u00a047 points. Yost was the only diver to finish in the A-final\u00a0of\u00a0all three diving events, highlighted by his\u00a0victory in the 1 meter event.<\/p>\n

Men’s Division I All-American Honors<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The CSCAA selected 126\u00a0student-athletes<\/strong> for First Team All-America. An additional 110\u00a0student-athletes<\/strong> were named Second Team All-America.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
