The NCAA record holder in the event is chasing his third individual crown this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Both he and Texas\u2019 <strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> were under the pool mark, set in 2018 by <strong>Ian Finnerty<\/strong> of Indiana. Corbeau is the second seed in 1:49.89, a nice coup for Texas in the title race.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/2023-ncaa-division-i-mens-championships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Page<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2023-ncaa-division-i-mens-psych-sheet\/ncaa-college\/2023\/March\/8?rtn=%2Fresults%2Fall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psych Sheets<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/swimmeetresults.tech\/NCAA-Division-I-Men-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Live Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Three-time reigning 100 breast champ <strong>Max McHugh<\/strong> is the third seed for his valedictory swim after a 1:50.64. He was just ahead of <strong>Andres Puente Bustamante<\/strong> of Texas A&amp;M, with Florida\u2019s <strong>Aleksas Savickas<\/strong> also under 1:51. <strong>Carles Coll Marti,<\/strong> who was fourth last year, nudged into the A final in eighth.<\/p>\n<p>All three team title contenders have one swimmer in the A final and one in the B.
