This latest honor comes on the heels of Maas earning his third-consecutive CSC Academic All-American honors, in addition to bringing home the SEC Men\u2019s Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors last month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maas\u2019 recognition marks the 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0time an Alabama student-athlete has earned the prestigious honor and the first time a Crimson Tide swimmer has won the award.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the pool, Maas broke the Alabama school record in the 200 individual medley during Thursday\u2019s prelim session.
