Previously, Qin swam a time of 2:09.39 in prelims at the 2017 World Championships at 2:09.39.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0<strong>Wang Changhao<\/strong> swam a Chinese national record in the 50 butterfly, following up his 51.45 in Wednesday&#8217;s 100 fly with a time of 23.25 in the one-lap race. He won a close race against <strong>Chen Juner<\/strong> (23.40) and <strong>Sun Jiajun<\/strong> (23.43). The last men&#8217;s race of the day, the 800 freestyle, went to <strong>Fei Liwei<\/strong> in\u00a07:54.37.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zhang Yufei<\/strong>, fresh off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/zhang-yufei-hits-56-58-100-butterfly-on-day-four-of-chinese-spring-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a 56.58 performance in Wednesday&#8217;s 100 fly<\/a>, scored the win in the women&#8217;s 50 free in 24.40, while <strong>Ye Shiwen<\/strong>, the 2012 Olympic gold medalist in the 400 IM and 200 IM, captured first place in the 200 breaststroke in 2:24.01.
