She touched the wall in 4:08.22, dropping nearly a second from her seed time.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford freshmen claimed the next two spots as<strong> Lucy Bell<\/strong> grabbed the second seed in 4:10.38 and<strong> Charlotte Hook<\/strong> was third in 4:10.57, followed by sophomore teammate <strong>Sam Tadder<\/strong> (4:10.58).<\/p>\n<p>USC\u2019s<strong> Justina Kozan<\/strong> took the fifth seed in 4:11.07, more than a seconds slower than her seed time, suggesting perhaps she has more in the tank for finals. Her fellow freshman teammate <strong>Ashley<\/strong> <strong>McMillen<\/strong> was sixth in 4:11.21, followed by Cal sophomore<strong> Leah Polonsky (<\/strong>4:12.07) and UCLA freshman<strong> predictably took the top two seeds in the 100 butterfly. The Cardinal loaded the final with four swimmers.<\/p>\n<p>Huske took the top seed in 50.91, more than a second slower than her seed time. Meanwhile She holds the Pac-12 record at 49.25, set last year at NCAAs. Curzan was at 51.01, eight hundredths of a second off of her seed time. Meanwhile, teammate<strong> Isabelle Odgers<\/strong> took the second spot in 59.75, also about a second off of her seed time, which could make for an extremely fast final. Dobler holds the conference record set at the NCAA championships last year at 56.94. She also holds the meet record in 57.21, also set last year.<\/p>\n<p>UCLA senior <strong>Claire Grover<\/strong> also was, as expected, the third seed. She touched the wall in 50.17, five hundredths of off her seed time.<\/p>\n<p>She will look to hold off Cal junior <strong>Isabelle Stadden<\/strong> in the finals. Stadden took the second seed in 51.24.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford once again loaded an event, with four in the finals. Senior<strong> Lucie Nordmann<\/strong> is the third seed (51.97), tied tie Cal\u2019s <strong>Annika McEnro<\/strong>e. Following USC\u2019s<strong> Aria Bernal<\/strong> (52.60) is Stanford\u2019s<strong> Gigi Johnson<\/strong> (52.77), also in a double, and senior <strong>Alex Crisera<\/strong> (52.90).
