Foster went 3:42.25, three-plus seconds off his best time this season. It\u2019s .22 ahead of Vines, who won the bronze medal in the 200 IM Thursday night. That\u2019s <strong>Megan DiMartile,<\/strong> who finished sixth in prelims at 54.70, though the freshman could still win the event, carrying the fastest seed time (53.12) to enter the meet. Texas won the event last year via the graduated <strong>Julia Cook,<\/strong> and <strong>Emma Sticklen<\/strong> was the runner-up.<\/p>\n<p>That means the other schools under the heel of Texas get to shine for a change. Kansas\u2019s <strong>Lezli Sisung<\/strong> grabbed the top seed with a 53.52.
