Olympic Trials Qualifier Lillie Nesty Verbally Commits to Texas Longhorns<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Texas has received a new verbal commitment for its growing class of 2028 from Olympic Trials qualifier Lillie Nesty\u00a0<\/strong>of Gainesville, Fla.<\/p>\n

Her father, Anthony Nesty<\/strong>, is the head coach at Florida and an Olympic gold medalist.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Piper Enge<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Campbell Chase<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Austin at the start of the 2024-25 season.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

Nesty trains year-round with Gator Swim Club and most recently collected three gold medals at Orlando Sectionals where she reached the Olympic Trial cut in the 200m free and 400m free. Back in December, she placed third in both the 50 free and 200 free at Juniors East, also taking ninth in the 100 free.<\/p>\n
