The 2023 Big Ten Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships concluded from Canham Natatorium in Ann Arbor, Mich., with the Day 5 finals.<\/p>\n

Ohio State entered the day with the lead and continued to build toward another title, making it four in a row.<\/p>\n

Big Ten Women’s 1650 Free<\/strong><\/p>\n
Wisconsin sophomore Paige McKenna, the defending NCAA champion in the 1650 free, broke the pool record and cruised to the Big Ten title in the event to kick off the finals.<\/p>\n
McKenna was steadily in the 28s for most of the race and finished in 15:46.90, 10 seconds ahead of the field. It was an NCAA “A” cut.<\/p>\n
Indiana sophomore Ching Gan<\/strong> was second in 15:56.55, followed by teammate Mariah Denigan<\/strong> (15:57.82).<\/p>\n
Ohio State took the next two spots with Maya Geringer<\/strong> (16:05.34) and Gwen Woodbury<\/strong> (16:05.80).<\/p>\n

Big Ten Women’s 200 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n
Indiana sophomore Anna Peplowski<\/strong> claimed the conference title in the 200 backstroke. She was the only swimmer to break 1:52, getting to the wall in 1:51.81, an NCAA “B” cut.<\/p>\n
Ohio State got three of the next three spots with Felicia Pasadyn<\/strong> second (1:52.90), Morgan Kraus<\/strong> fourth (1:54.53) and Tristan Harrison<\/strong> fifth (1:54.84).<\/p>\n
Wisconsin sophomore Mackenzie McConagha<\/strong> was third (1:53.77).<\/p>\n

Big Ten Women’s 100 Frestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n
Ohio State senior Amy Fulmer<\/strong> broke the pool record to win the conference title in the 100 free. Fulmer touched the wall in 47.02, breaking her own mark set during prelims. It is an NCAA “A” cut.<\/p>\n
The Buckeyes again stuffed the final, going 1-3-4 with Katherine Zenick<\/strong> (47.92) and Teresa Ivan<\/strong> (48.30) going 3-4 behind Michigan’s Lindsay Flynn<\/strong> (47.50).<\/p>\n

She dropped a second and a half from her prelims time and got to the wall in 1:53.94, an NCAA “B” cut.<\/p>\n
Ohio State’s Felicia Pasadyn<\/strong> was second in 1:54.33, followed by Minnesota junior Megan Van<\/strong> Berkom<\/strong> (1:55.14) and Northwestern senior Miriam Guevara<\/strong> (1:55.82).<\/p>\n
