There will be a total of 300 swimmers in the meet, 140 men and 160 women, and 16 divers &#8211; eight men and eight women.<\/p>\n<p>This year the NAIA has used a new selection process and qualifying rules. The NAIA swimming and diving teams have surprisingly raised the level of the organization.<\/p>\n<p>The expectations for this year&#8217;s championship are nothing but fast swims. Keiser&#8217;s women\u2019s and men\u2019s program have topped the rankings the entire season. Coach Adam Epstein said earlier in the season that his swimmers are hungrier than ever and expect to be on top of the podium again.<\/p>\n<p>Some other programs to watch during the championships are St. Thomas University, SCAD, University of the Cumberlands, Milligan University, and Olivet Nazarene.<\/p>\n<h3>Women\u2019s Swimmers To Watch<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Elisa Corradi<\/strong> &#8211; NAIA Athlete of the Month. She is ranked top-two in all her events. The freshman swims for the University of the Cumberlands.<\/p>\n<p>Top swims this year:<\/p>\n<p>200 IM &#8211; 2:04.09<\/p>\n<p>400 IM &#8211; 2:28.01<\/p>\n<p>200 Butterfly &#8211; 2:03.44<\/p>\n<p><strong>Camryn Hudson<\/strong> &#8211; A two-time NAIA individual national champion. Hudson is also ranked top-two in her events. The senior swims for the Keiser Women\u2019s Swimming program.<\/p>\n<p>Top swims this year:<\/p>\n<p>200 IM &#8211; 2:04.61<\/p>\n<p>100 Freestyle &#8211; 50.51<\/p>\n<p>200 Butterfly &#8211; 2.03.63<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taylor Fitzgerald<\/strong> &#8211; The freshman swims for St. Thomas University and is the top seed in the 100 and 200 in backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>Top swims this year:<\/p>\n<p>200 IM &#8211; 2:09.06<\/p>\n<p>100 Backstroke &#8211; 55.84<\/p>\n<p>200 Backstroke &#8211; 2:00.33<\/p>\n<h3>Men\u2019s Swimmers To Watch<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Noel De Geus<\/strong> &#8211; The freshman is ranked first in two events and top-three in his third event. De Geus swims for Keiser University.<\/p>\n<p>Top swims this year:<\/p>\n<p>50 Free &#8211; 20.06<\/p>\n<p>100 Breaststroke &#8211; 52.66<\/p>\n<p>200 Breaststroke &#8211; 1:59.90<\/p>\n<p><strong>I\u00f1igo Marina<\/strong> &#8211; The 2021-22 individual national champion in the 200-yard breaststroke. The sophomore swims for St. Thomas University. Marina is ranked top-two in two events.<\/p>\n<p>Top times this season:<\/p>\n<p>100 Breaststroke &#8211; 53.46<\/p>\n<p>200 Breaststroke &#8211; 1:58.02<\/p>\n<p>200 IM &#8211; 1:52.92<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joel Thatcher<\/strong> &#8211; An NAIAI individual champ, Thatcher swims for SCAD University.
