World Aquatics has released entry information World Aquatics Masters Championships will take place from Aug. 2-11 in Kyushu, Japan.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe island of Kyushu is a place of great beauty. With clean, clear seas and white sandy beaches, it\u2019s a perfect area for all ages to participate in aquatics. Japan has a long history of success in aquatics and we are very grateful for Japan\u2019s commitment to hosting both the World Aquatics Championships and the World Aquatics Masters Championships,\u201d said Husain Al-Musallam<\/strong>, World Aquatics President.<\/p>\n

It has been four years since a World Masters Championship meet has taken place.<\/p>\n

Athletes wishing to participate must belong to a swimming club registered with their national swimming federation. Proof of club affiliation must be registered at the time of online registration.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am extremely proud that the World Aquatics Masters Championships Kyushu 2023 is held in the three cities on the Kyushu Island, Fukuoka, Kumamoto and Kagoshima, and I wholeheartedly welcome all participants from across the globe,\u201d said Daichi Suzuki<\/strong>, president of the organizing committee. \u201cThe Championships\u2019 concept of \u201cWATER MEETS THE FUTURE\u201d expresses the hope that all the participants will meet the future. The event takes aim to create the future of aquatic sports through innovative technology, and also create a future for the region by connecting various people. The goal of the Championships is to further develop the event through the course of 22 years, from the one in 2001 that focused on \u201centertaining\u201d people to the other in 2023 that focuses on \u201cinspiring\u201d people.<\/p>\n
