Photo Courtesy: Giorgio Scala \/ deepbluemedia<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Thomas Ceccon<\/strong> lowered the 100 back record <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/world-championships-thomas-ceccon-crushes-world-record-to-claim-100-back-world-title\/\">to 51.60<\/a>, slicing an almighty 0.25 from <strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong>\u2019s WR of 51.85 which had stood since <strong>Rio 2016<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leon Marchand<\/strong> won the medley double at the Budapest worlds, setting a European record in the 400IM, his time of 4:04.28 the second-fastest in history and eclipsed only by Michael Phelps&#8217;
