Dunham prevailed in both the 200 freestyle (1:34.18) and 100 butterfly (47.08), picking up B-cuts and personal-best times in both events. He led off the Bulldogs\u2019 victorious 200 medley relay with an opening 50 backstroke split of 22.18. He then closed the meet with a winning 200 freestyle relay with a split of 19.34, the fastest of Georgia\u2019s four swimmers on the team.<\/p>\n<p>Missouri\u2019s Jack Dahlgren, a fifth-year from Victoria, Minn., won three events in the victory over Southern Illinois. Dahlgren took first place in the 200 back with a time of 1:40.66, tying for the ninth best time in the nation this season. He also finished first in the 50 free (19.72) and swam the leadoff leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:24.51).<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC Men\u2019s Diver of the Week: Sam Duncan, Kentucky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kentucky\u2019s Sam Duncan, a junior from Oakton, Va., swept the diving events in the win at Cincinnati. Duncan set the Keating Aquatic Center pool record on the 3-meter springboard, breaking a 14-year record with his score of 391.88. He also recorded a final score of 338.78 to win the 3-meter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC Men\u2019s Co-Freshmen of the Week: Sam Powe, Georgia and Ryan Merani, Kentucky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s Sam Powe, a freshman from Chattanooga, Tenn., earned his first collegiate win in the victory over Emory l. Powe finished first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:47.06, while also placing second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:45.00. In the 200 medley relay, he led off with a 50 backstroke split of 22.66, helping his team place third in the event. In the 200 freestyle relay, he anchored Georgia\u2019s \u2018B\u2019 team with a split of 20.00, the fastest final leg of all swimmers.<\/p>\n<p>Kentucky\u2019s Ryan Merani, a freshman from Lutherville Timonium, Md., three podium finishes in the win at Cincinnati, tying for the team lead with 18 points to help the Wildcats to their first dual meet victory of the season. Merani touched the wall first in the 200 fly with a season-best time of 1:47.47. He also captured second place in the 500 free (4:31.71) and swam the second leg of the third-place 200 free relay (1:23.27\/20.80).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week: Dun\u00e9 Coetzee, Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s Dun\u00e9 Coetzee, a sophomore from Pretoria, South Africa, posted a B-cut time of 16:03.09 versus Emory in her first-ever collegiate 1,650 freestyle race, the fifth-fastest time in the nation this season. In addition to her mile time, Coetzee turned in a 1,000 freestyle split of 9:41.07, making her the 10th-fastest performer in program history in the event. In the meet, Coetzee also competed in the 100 butterfly (56.14) and 200 freestyle relay (1:36.61\/24.05).<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Diver of the Week: Kyndal Knight, Kentucky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kentucky\u2019s Kyndal Knight, a fifth-year from Stanley, N.C., swept the springboard events in the win at Cincinnati. Knight recorded a final score of 335.48 on the 1-meter, setting a pool record at the Keating Aquatic Center. She also posted a final score of 319.35 on the 3-meter. Knight\u2019s 18 points helped the Wildcats to their third consecutive dual meet victory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEC Women\u2019s Freshman of the Week: Elizabeth Isakson, Georgia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Georgia\u2019s Elizabeth Isakson, a freshman from Marietta, Ga., closed out the dual season with three wins in the victory over Emory. Isakson opened the meet by swimming the breaststroke leg of the Bulldogs\u2019 winning 200 medley relay, dropping a split of 28.25.
