The men won by a similar score of 183-77, in a meet that didn\u2019t include diving down in Atlanta.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/acc-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ACC Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ramblinwreck.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/meet-results-gt-vs-cnu-1-27-23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Turkish international won all three of her races across an impressive range. Ertan prevailed in the 1,000 freestyle in 9:53.66, winning by nearly 30 seconds. She led teammate <strong>Rei Kuramoto<\/strong> to the wall in the 200 butterfly, in a time of 2:00.75. Then in the 200 individual medley, Ertan went 2:04.44 to edge out Kuramoto by .05 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman <strong>Anna Hadjiloizou<\/strong> showed her mettle again, the newcomer for the spring semester winning twice. The Cypriot sprinter claimed the 50 free in 23.52, edging teammate <strong>Caroline Porterfield.<\/strong> She went 51.20 to win the 100 free and anchored winning times in the 400 medley and 200 free relays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ariana Dirkzwager<\/strong> won the 100 backstroke and finished second in the 200. <strong>Clarissa Sabin<\/strong> won the 100 breast and finished second to teammate <strong>Claudia Butterfield<\/strong> in the 200 breast. Second to Sabin in the 100 breast was 500 free champ <strong>McKenzie Campbell. Zora Ripkova<\/strong> won the 100 fly and was the runner-up in the 200 free to <strong>Sophie Murphy.<\/strong> Like Hadjiloizou, Murphy was on both winning relays.<\/p>\n<p>Carson-Newman\u2019s lone win on the women\u2019s side came via <strong>Kyla Blakemore,<\/strong> who went 2:00.91 to capture the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nils Bognar<\/strong> picked up three wins to guide the Yellow Jackets\u2019 men\u2019s team. The freshman went 50.01 to win the 100 back. He also claimed the 200 back and edged Carson-Newman\u2019s <strong>Henrique Januario<\/strong> by .02 in 1:50.91 to claim the 200 IM.<\/p>\n<p>The Georgia Tech distance contingent paved the way to the win. <strong>Mert Kilavuz<\/strong> and <strong>Charles Perk<\/strong> went 1-2 in both the 1,000 free and 500 free. Kilavuz was second to teammate <strong>Antonio Romero<\/strong> in the 200 fly.<\/p>\n<p>Romero in turn was the runner-up in the 100 fly to <strong>Batur Unlu.<\/strong> He won the 200 free ahead of teammate <strong>Berke Saka,<\/strong> who then won the 100 free. <strong>Daniel Kertesz<\/strong> did the unusual double of the 100 breast and 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Januario won the 200 breast for CNU, just edging Georgia Tech\u2019s <strong>Julian Killius.<\/strong> Killius was also second in the 100 breast.
