The men prevailed, 179.5-111.5.<\/p>\n<p>Rinn won twice in the front half of the meet, capturing the 1,000 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Meisner prevailed in the 200 free and the 500 free.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/big-ten-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Big Ten Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gopsusports.com\/documents\/2023\/1\/27\/results_psu_vs_villanova_01.27.23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Penn State won the first three women\u2019s events, including a 1-2 with Henderson and <strong>Catherine Meisner<\/strong> in the 100 backstroke. Henderson later won the 200 back, back-to-back with a runner-up finish in the 100 free, which was won by Meisner. Penn State also went 1-2 in the 50 free, via <strong>Cat Stanford<\/strong> and <strong>Liv Jack. Emma Harvey<\/strong> edged Catherine Meisner to win the 100 fly, <strong>Ellie Brandbergh<\/strong> won the 200 IM and <strong>Abbie Amdor<\/strong> finished second in the 100 breaststroke and the 500 free. <strong>Daphne Wils<\/strong> prevailed in both diving events.<\/p>\n<p>Villanova got a pair of wins from <strong>Winnie Jalet.<\/strong> She went 1:04.42 to take home the 100 breast and 2:18.83 in the 200 breast.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s team was led by the Nittany Lions\u2019 freestyle prowess. <strong>Mariano Lazzerini<\/strong> led a 1-2-3 sweep in the 50 free with a time of 21.46. <strong>Victor Baganha<\/strong> did the same in the 100 free. Third in that event was <strong>Eduardo Cisternas,<\/strong> who won the 200 free in a podium sweep.<\/p>\n<p>Lazzerini added a win in the 200 breast. Baganha claimed the 100 fly, with Cisternas third.<\/p>\n<p>The race of the day came in the 500 free, with Penn State\u2019s <strong>Jack Harvey<\/strong> and <strong>Jake McIntyre<\/strong> of Villanova tying for the win in 4:39.60. Harvey was second to Cisternas in the 200.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cooper Morley<\/strong> won the 200 back for Penn State. Teammate <strong>Will Lulek<\/strong> was second in both the 200 back and 200 breast in back-to-back events. <strong>Lachlan Byrne<\/strong> (100 back), <strong>Tommy Hurley<\/strong> (100 breast), <strong>Andrew Christensen<\/strong> (200 fly) and <strong>Matthew Bittner<\/strong> (200 IM) added wins for the Nittany Lions. <strong>Hayden Elliott<\/strong> won both men\u2019s diving events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Charlie Hinckley<\/strong> led Villanova off with a win in the 1,000 free, his time of 9:19.33 besting the field by nearly 18 seconds. <strong>Nolan Danus<\/strong> was second
