Stadden holds the third-fastest time in the country this season in the 200 back and the fourth-fastest in the 100 back. She also is a member of the U.S. National Team in both events.<\/p>\n<p>Mazurek swept the sprint freestyle events, taking the 50 free in 22.79 and the 100 free with a mark of 49.85.<\/p>\n<p>Cal swept the top three spots in both the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly events, with senior <strong>Rachel Klinker<\/strong> winning the 200 fly in a time of 1:57.43. Sophomores <strong>Lizzy Cook<\/strong> and <strong>Leah Polonsky<\/strong> finished directly behind her. Klinker has the eighth-fastest time in the 200 butterfly this season and the third-best time ever at Cal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">More College News<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sophomore <strong>Mia Kragh<\/strong> captured the 100 fly event with a mark of 53.13, edging out teammate and fellow sophomore <strong>Lizzy Cook<\/strong> by three-one hundredths of a second. Klinker finished third.<\/p>\n<p>Other Cal winners included <strong>Mia Motekaitis<\/strong> in the 200 freestyle at 1:46.83 and senior Ayla Spitz in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:48.36. Cal&#8217;s 200 medley relay team of Stadden,<strong> Jade Neser,<\/strong> Kragh and <strong>McKenna Stone<\/strong> also notched a victory.<\/p>\n<p>The Bears are back at Spieker Aquatics Complex on Saturday morning to face No. 24 UCLA in their final home appearance of the season. Cal will honor Spitz, Motekaitis, Klinker and fellow seniors <strong>Emma Davidson, Sarah DiMeco, Cassie Graham<\/strong> and <strong>Eloise Riley<\/strong> in a special ceremony before the meet.<\/p>\n<p>For USC, NCAA defending champion <strong>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> won the 100 breast (59.80). <strong>Isabelle Odgers<\/strong> won the 200 breast (2:10.50), going 1-2 with Dobler (2:12.62).
