The men\u2019s team, ranked 12th in the nation, claimed a 190-86 win over the Wildcats, a day after falling to Arizona State. The women\u2019s team completed a sweep of the Arizona schools on the weekend by downing Arizona, 169.5-99.5.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gostanford.com\/documents\/2023\/1\/21\/MSWIM_Stanford_at_Arizona.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/meet\/pac-12-swimming\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pac-12 Swimming<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The women\u2019s team didn\u2019t exactly have to max out their lineup to get things done easily. The 100 backstroke was a fitting early statement, won by <strong>Claire Curzan<\/strong> in 52.95 seconds. <strong>Janelle Rudolph<\/strong> and <strong>Amy Tang<\/strong> followed her to the wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Torri Huske<\/strong> won the 100 free in 50.56. She also posted the fastest time in the 400 individual medley (4:16.28). <strong>Aurora Roghair<\/strong> was second to Huske in the 100 free, then took third in the 200 back an event later.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Morgan Tankersley<\/strong> won the 200 free, by .26 seconds over teammate <strong>Natalie Mannion,<\/strong> and was third in the 50 free. Mannion won the 500 free, ahead of <strong>Lucy Bell,<\/strong> who won the 100 breaststroke. <strong>Lillie Nordmann<\/strong> won the 200 fly and was second to <strong>Alex Crisera<\/strong> in the 200 back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kayla Wilson<\/strong> (1,000 free), <strong>Emma Wheal<\/strong> (50 free), <strong>Allie Raab<\/strong> (200 breast) and <strong>Gigi Johnson<\/strong> (100 fly) added wins for the Cardinal. Huske, Bell, Curzan and Tang won the 200 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona won both diving events behind <strong>Delaney Schnell,<\/strong> who scored 342.38 on 1-meter and 320.48 on platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rafael Gu<\/strong> led the way for Stanford. He won the 200 free, rallying with a final 50 of 24.23 to pip Arizona\u2019s <strong>Ralph Daleiden<\/strong> at the wall by .11 seconds. He won the 50 in 20.30, then took the 100 fly in 47.71.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, the most excitement came from <strong>Andrei Minakov<\/strong> laying down a time of 43.72 off the front of the 400 free relay. That helped the team of <strong>Luke Maurer, Leon MacAlister<\/strong> and <strong>Neel Roy<\/strong> win in 2:55.95.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hayden Kwan<\/strong> swept the backstroke events. <strong>Ethan Dang<\/strong> won the 200 breast and was third in the 100. <strong>Rick Mihm<\/strong> won the 400 IM after finishing third in the 100 back. Maurer did the same in the 500 free and 200 free, respectively. <strong>Peyton Forst<\/strong> (1,000 free), <strong>Zhier Fan<\/strong> (100 breast) and McAllister (100 free) added wins for the Cardinal. <strong>Jack Ryan<\/strong> won the only diving event of the day, scoring 382.73 on 3-meter.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona fired an opening salvo by winning the 200 medley relay by .22 seconds, the squad of Ryans \u2013 <strong>Ryan Purdy, Ryan Foote, Ryan Perham<\/strong> \u2013 and <strong>Marin Ercegovic<\/strong> going 1:28.37, but they couldn\u2019t sustain it. Ercegovic was the runner-up in the 50 free, as was Purdy in the 100 back and Foote in the 100 breast.
