Indiana&#8217;s men won 161-128 against Purdue while the women earned a 159-133 decision.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the way were multi-event winners <strong>Tomer<\/strong> <strong>Frankel<\/strong>,<strong> Jassen Yep<\/strong> and<strong> Kristina Pagle<\/strong>. Frankel finished first in the 200 butterfly (1:47.44) and 100 butterfly (47.13) while contributing to wins in the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay, while Yep won the 100 breaststroke (54.51), 200 breaststroke (1:58.21) and 200 IM (1:51.65). On the women&#8217;s side, Pagle won the 200 free (1:49.11) and 100 free (49.51) while also being part of two relay wins.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/category\/college\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>College swimming news<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com\/sidearm.nextgen.sites\/purduesports.com\/documents\/2023\/1\/21\/purdue_vs_iu_2023_results.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full results are available here<\/a>, and read the press release from Indiana below:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No. 7\/9 Indiana swimming and diving extended its winning streaks against Purdue on Saturday (Jan. 21) inside Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center in West Lafayette, Ind.<\/p>\n<p>IU men&#8217;s swimming and diving has won 13 consecutive meets against Purdue going back to the 2010-11 season, while the women&#8217;s team is 12-0 since 2011-12.<\/p>\n<p>Indiana won three of four diving events on Saturday, including a sweep of the men&#8217;s events. Sophomores <strong>Quinn Henninger<\/strong> and <strong>Carson Tyler<\/strong> won the 1-meter and platform events, while reigning Big Ten diver of the week and junior <strong>Anne Fowler<\/strong> pulled out a win in the women&#8217;s 1-meter competition. Tyler showed consistency in his platform performance, earning at least 60 points on all six dives, including four dives worth at least 70 points.<\/p>\n<p>Junior <strong>Jassen Yep<\/strong> led IU swimmers with three victories after sweeping the breaststroke races and then being rewarded the win in the 200 IM after touching in 1:51.65. Seniors <strong>Brendan Burns<\/strong> and <strong>Mikey Calvillo<\/strong> swam the individual medley in 1:50.11 and 1:50.58, respectively, but were listed as exhibitions in what was a 1-2-3 finish
