Junior Pan Pac Medalist Bailey Hartman Verbally Commits to Virginia<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Virginia has continued to build a stellar recruiting class, recently earning a verbal commitment from\u00a0Bailey Hartman\u00a0<\/strong>of Danville, California, who’s one of the top recruits in her year.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Charlotte Wilson<\/strong><\/a>, Leah Hayes<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Anna Moesch<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Katie Christopherson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Charlottesville as a member of the Hoos\u2019 Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic journey at the University of Virginia. I want to thank my family, coaches, and teammates for their support and encouragement in achieving my goals both in and out of the pool! Also thanks to Todd and the entire UVA coaching staff for providing me this tremendous opportunity. #gohoos\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hartman does her club swimming with Crow Canyon Country Club Sharks and most recently earned bronze in the 200 fly at Juniors West where she also placed fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 free. Last summer, she raced to the bronze medal in the 100m fly at the Junior Pan Pac Championships, also winning the B-final of the 200m fly.<\/p>\n

Currently a junior at Carondelet High School, Hartman won the 200\/500 free at the CIF North Coast Section Championship last year.<\/p>\n
