So, what will it take this year for scholastic athletes to earn All-American status? To provide a target, here is a look at the <a href=\"https:\/\/niscaonline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association<\/a> (NISCA) All-American standards for the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n<p>The chart below highlights the automatic standards and the consideration times that have been set forth by NISCA, which will honor the top 100 individual performers and relays in the events contested in high school competition. Coaches are encouraged to submit their times to NISCA so the student-athletes receive proper recognition for their efforts. Only performances recorded in high school competition are eligible for consideration.<\/p>\n<p>Already this season, a number of elite performances have been registered in high school action. Leading the way is <strong>Kaii Winkler<\/strong>, who produced a 42.52 clocking in the 100-yard freestyle and a 1:34.18 effort in the 200 freestyle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kaii-winkler-shines-as-bolles-sweeps-florida-1a-state-championship-titles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">at the Florida 1A Championships<\/a>. At the same competition, North Carolina State recruit <strong>Erika Pelaez<\/strong> went 52.12 in the 100 butterfly and managed a 51.78 showing in the 100 backstroke.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_520585\" style=\"width: 735px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-520585\" data-attachment-id=\"520585\"
