I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity. Along with that I\u2019d like to thank all the family, friends, and coaches who have helped me along the way. I\u2019m extremely excited to join the Longhorn Family<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/14.0.0\/svg\/1f918.svg\" alt=\"\ud83e\udd18\" \/>\u00a0#hookem\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hatcher does his club swimming with Lakeside Aquatic Club and most recently competed at Juniors West where he took third in the mile, fifth in the 500 free, ninth in the 200 fly and 12th in the 200 free. He exploded at that meet, dropping significant amounts of time in all of his top events.<\/p>\n<p>This past summer, he raced to 12th in the 1500m free and 14th in the 800m free at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1650 free \u2013 15:04.80<\/li>\n<li>1000 free \u2013 9:06.51<\/li>\n<li>500 free \u2013 4:21.55<\/li>\n<li>200 free \u2013 1:36.54<\/li>\n<li>200 fly \u2013 1:47.28<\/li>\n<li>200 back \u2013 1:50.11<\/li>\n<li>100 back \u2013 49.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Southlake Carroll Senior High School, Hatcher placed fifth in the 500 free and 13th in the 200 IM at the Texas UIL 6A State Championships in 2022.
