I would like to thank Coach Kevin and Coach Daniel for giving me this opportunity and also all of my family, coaches, friends, and everyone who has supported me through this whole process. Go Crimson!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chen does his club swimming with Ames Cyclone Aquatic Club and most recently placed 12th in both the 100 and 200 breast at Juniors West last week. This past summer, he was the runner-up in both the 100m and 200m breast at Junior Nationals.<\/p>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast \u2013 54.17<\/li>\n<li>200 breast \u2013 1:57.23<\/li>\n<li>200 IM \u2013 1:52.81<\/li>\n<li>100 fly \u2013 53.82<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Currently a junior at Ames Senior High School, Chen placed second in the 100 breast and third in the 200 IM at the 2022 Iowa State Championships. He finished third and 16th, respectively, in those events as a freshman.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s a great pickup for the Crimson, as his top times would already score in the B-final at the Ivy League Championships.<\/p>\n<p><em>*IVY LEAGUE\u00a0DISCLAIMER:* A \u201cverbal commitment\u201d does not\u00a0guarantee\u00a0admission.
