Final-day preliminaries suggest several more National Age Group standards will be under fire, and one mark even went down during the a.m. session.<\/p>\n<p>Just weeks after he set an NAG in the 15-16 class in the 100-yard freestyle, <strong>Kaii Winkler<\/strong> took his record even lower with a swim of 42.21. That time was faster than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/kaii-winkler-breaks-nag-15-16-record-in-100-freestyle-at-florida-state-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">42.52 he managed at the Florida State Championships<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a complete look at what unfolded during Saturday morning\u2019s prelims session.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swmeets.com\/Realtime\/SC%20Juniors\/2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Girls\u2019 200 Backstroke<\/h3>\n<p>Canadian star <strong>Summer McIntosh<\/strong>, demonstrating her versatility, easily clocked the fastest swim of the morning, as she cruised through her heat in 1:52.37. Across all of her events this week, McIntosh has dropped considerable time from the morning to the night, which means a sub-1:50 outing is certainly in the mix for finals. Winkler went out in 20.22 and came home in 21.99 for his new standard. Now, he will set his eyes on going sub-42 during the evening finals.
