NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Texas has added yet another impressive verbal pledge for the 2024-25 season and beyond, this time from\u00a0Kyle Peck\u00a0<\/strong>of Fredericksburg, Virginia.<\/p>\n

He will join\u00a0Jeremy Kelly<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Luke Stibrich<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Brayden Taivassalo<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Cooper Lucas<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a member of the Longhorns\u2019 Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding his commitment, he said:<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic endeavors at the University of Texas. I want to thank my family, friends, teachers as well as my coaches and teammates with the RAYS who have guided me along the way. Who knew this photo from when I was six months old would be so telling? Coach Eddie and Coach Wyatt and the team, I look forward to this exciting opportunity. Peck earned seven best times at the NCSA Championships this past summer. Back in March, he was a seven-time NCSA Championship finalist, placing as high as fifth in the 200 back. He then went on to win the 100 fly and 200 back at Richmond Futures.<\/p>\n

He trains year-round with Rappahannock Stingrays Swim Team and is the Virginia Swimming LSC record holder in the 100 back.<\/p>\n
