Isabel Ivey<\/strong> has decided to take her extra year of NCAA eligibility and is headed back to her home state.<\/p>\n

The former Cal All-American announced on Sunday that she will be pursuing a masters degree at the University of Florida and will swim for the Gators.<\/p>\n

She made the announcement on Instagram:<\/p>\n

“time to come home \ud83e\udd0d\ud83e\udd0d Incredibly honored to finally share that I\u2019ll be continuing my athletic and academic career at the University of Florida, where I\u2019ll obtain a master’s degree from the Warrington College of Business.\u00a0 I\u2019m beyond thankful for my family and friends, coaches, and teammates, who have all helped me ultimately make the best decision for myself during this process. Especially grateful to the coaches at UF for giving me this incredible opportunity, and I cannot wait to join Gator Nation. GO GATORS.”<\/span><\/p>\n
