On only four weeks of real training, doing these times is pretty nice! Had a blast racing again!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The 200 was still a pacing game, so without going all out also a decent time. So happy overall!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Next up for the two-time world medallist are the Dutch SC Championships but also the welcome distraction of the World Cup with the Netherlands progressing to the quarter-finals with victory on Saturday over the USA.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Netherlands football is doing good and so are we ;)&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Schouten 21-year-old sliced 2.46secs from her 200 PB to set a new mark of 2:23.67 on Friday, a time that catapults her into European medal waters.<\/p>\n<p>Come Sunday and the European medley relay bronze medallist was back in record-breaking form over two lengths, taking 0.30secs from her national record of 1:06.88 set last month in 1:06.58.<\/p>\n<p>Schouten returned in the afternoon, splitting 31.44\/34.65 en-route to a time of 1:06.09 that would have taken silver at the Europeans in Rome in August where she finished seventh in 1:07.66.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kaylene Corbett<\/strong> repeated her second-placed finish in the 200 in 1:08.87 with <strong>Anne Palmans<\/strong> third in 1:10.63.<\/p>\n<h3>Four In Four For Steenbergen<\/h3>\n<div id=\"attachment_511190\" style=\"width: 291px\" claiming her fourth gold in as many races with a 24.89 victory in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>It meant a sweep of the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle as well as the 100 fly and next up is a trip to Melbourne for short-course worlds as she looks to continue a year that has seen her on world and European podiums.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> (25.10) and <strong>Nina Sandrine Jazy<\/strong> (25.38) were second and third respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Renzo Tjon A Joe<\/strong> was the only man inside 22secs in the men&#8217;s 50 free, stopping the clock at 21.96 ahead of <strong>Kenzo Simons<\/strong> (22.20) and <strong>Oussama Sahnoune<\/strong> (22.74).<\/p>\n<h3>Stancu And Turley Top The Podium<\/h3>\n<p>A 57.05 final 100 saw <strong>Luke Turley<\/strong> overhaul long-time leader<strong> Kieran Bird<\/strong> to win the men&#8217;s 400 free in 3:50.81 with his Bath Performance Centre training mate second in 3:51.24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vlad-Stefan Stancu<\/strong>, the in 8:05.87.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Imani de Jong<\/strong> and <strong>Jenna van Kooten<\/strong> fought their own personal duel in the women&#8217;s 400 free before the former pulled away on the penultimate length for what was ultimately a clear victory, 4:11.82 to 4:14.33.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maaike de Waard<\/strong> added 50 fly gold to her 100 back title with the only sub-26sec of the field in 25.64 ahead of <strong>Roos Vanotterdijk<\/strong> as the Belgian teenager continued her fine meet in 26.50 with <strong>Jessica Felsner<\/strong> third in 26.67.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luca Nik Armbruster<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s fly dash in 23.77 ahead of <strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong> (23.85) and <strong>Thomas Verhoeven<\/strong> (23.96) with <strong>James Guy<\/strong> next home in 24.01.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leah Crisp<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s 800 free in 8:42.26 ahead of <strong>Julia Ackermann<\/strong> in 8:42.63.<\/p>\n<h3>Dorsman Makes It Five<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Rogier Dorsman<\/strong> has had a superb meet with a European record and four victories and wrapped up his programme with another gold in the men&#8217;s 50 free in a Dutch S11 record of 25.99.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liesette Bruinsma<\/strong> &#8211; who swims in the SB13 events &#8211; headed the women&#8217;s 50 free in 30.65 while <strong>Florianne Bultje<\/strong> set a Dutch S9 record of 29.37.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chantelle Zijderweld<\/strong> led the way in the women&#8217;s 100br SB9 in 1:14.65 with <strong>Taliso Engel<\/strong> &#8211; who swims in the SB13 events &#8211;
