report<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Schouten stopped the clock at 2:23.67 to take 0.26 off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/tes-schouten-sets-dutch-200-breaststroke-record-in-rotterdam-prelims\/\">the mark of 2:23.93 she set in Friday<\/a>&#8216;s prelims while Guy and Steenbergen both added the respective 100 fly titles to their 200 free victories on the opening day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Verena Schott<\/strong> of Germany set a para world record of 1:26.08 in the 100m butterfly S6.<\/p>\n<h3>Schouten Rewrites The Record Books<\/h3>\n<p>Schouten started the day with a PB of 2:26.13 from February and her finals time at the 150 mark was 0.08 slower than her prelims.<\/p>\n<p>However, the 21-year-old came home in 36.88 in a time that would have been good enough for third at the European Championships in Rome where she missed the final by one place and 0.04secs.<\/p>\n<p>Splits: 32.73\/1:09.71\/1:46.79\/2:23.93<\/p>\n<p>Commonwealth bronze medallist <strong>Kaylene Corbett<\/strong> was second home in 2:24.01 with City of Sheffield&#8217;s <strong>Charlotte Bianchi<\/strong> third in 2:32.91.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Caspar Corbeau<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200br in 2:09.13 ahead of <strong>Arno Kamminga<\/strong> with the double Olympic silver medallist moving from third place at the final turn thanks to a fourth 50 of 32.19 as he finished in 2:10.39.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Noah De Schryver<\/strong> was next home in 2:12.79.<\/p>\n<h3>Guy And Steenbergen Lead The Way<\/h3>\n<p>Guy overhauled Olympic champion <strong>Tom Dean<\/strong> to win the 200 free on day one and on Friday he reached the halfway point 0.01 behind leader <strong>Ed Mildred<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A second 50 of 27.92 propelled the double Olympic relay champion past Mildred and into the wall first in 52.10.<\/p>\n<p>Mildred was second in 52.36 while <strong>Jacob Peters<\/strong> moved from sixth to third with a second-length 27.82 to stop the clock at 52.43 as the trio claimed a <strong>Bath Performance Centre<\/strong> clean sweep.<\/p>\n<p>Steenbergen, seven-time medallist at the 2022 Europeans, split 27.71\/30.96 to win the women&#8217;s race in 58.57 ahead of Maaike de Waard (58.91) and\u00a0<strong>Roos Performance Centre, won the men&#8217;s 50 back in 25.26.<\/p>\n<p>European junior champion <strong>Vlad-Stefan Stancu<\/strong> dominated the men&#8217;s 1500 free to win by more than 25secs from <strong>Logan Vanhuys<\/strong> in 15:06.86.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Imani de Jong<\/strong> won the women&#8217;s race in 16:28.38.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zoe Vogelmann<\/strong> went ahead after 300m to win the women&#8217;s 400IM in 4:45.02 ahead of City of Sheffield&#8217;s <strong>Amber Keegan<\/strong> who clocked 4:47.93.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Jansen<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s event in 4:20.36 with second-placed <strong>Yanieck Weijland<\/strong> setting a Dutch age group record of 4:26.14.<\/p>\n<h3>Schott Sets Para World Record<\/h3>\n<p>In the para races,\u00a0Schott took 0.22 off the previous 100 fly WR of\u00a0 held by <strong>Eleanor Robinson<\/strong> since April 2015 after starting her session with victory in the 50 back in 40.61.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Liesette Bruinsma<\/strong> set a Dutch S11 record of 1:21.95 behind Schott.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rogier Dorsman<\/strong> &#8211; who swims in the S11 events &#8211; won his second title in as many days when he led the way in 1:04.04 with <strong>Thomas van Wanrooij<\/strong> setting a Dutch S13 mark of 58.43.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jan Schreiber<\/strong> &#8211; who swims in the S10 classification &#8211; took the men&#8217;s
