Curry split a 41.81.<\/p>\n<p>The Alabama women won the meet with 792 points, holding off USC (750). Texas A&amp;M was third (667), followed by LSU (502), Arkansas (432.5), Washington State (278.5) and TCU (143).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/art-adamson-invitational-day-1-maggie-mac-neil-races-to-21-03-fastest-time-in-ncaa-this-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Day 1 recap<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/art-adamson-invitational-maggie-mac-neil-nears-ncaa-record-in-100-butterfly\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Day 2 recap<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is a look at the events on the final night fo the Art Adamson Invitational from College Station:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama Olympian <strong>Rhyan White<\/strong> won the 200 backstroke with relative ease on Friday night. The senior touched the wall in 1:51.53 and bested the field by three seconds.<\/p>\n<p>USC&#8217;s <strong>Hanna Henderson<\/strong> took second in 1:54.55, ahead of Texas A&amp;M sophomore <strong>Aviv Barzelay<\/strong> (1:54.56).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Backstroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Ethan Gogulski<\/strong> won the men&#8217;s 200 back in 1:40.07, more than a second ahead of the field at the Art Adamson Inviational.<\/p>\n<p>The Aggies went 1-2-3 as <strong>Baylor Nelson<\/strong> took second in 1:41.17 and <strong>Thomas Shompur<\/strong> took third in 1:42.21.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 100 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Morgan Scott<\/strong> dropped a second from her prelims time to win the 100 free. She touched the wall in 47.81.<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s<strong> Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> took secondin 47.94, followed by Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Kalia Antoniou<\/strong> (48.68) and USC Olympian <strong>Anicka Delgado<\/strong> (48.68).<\/p>\n<p>LSU&#8217;s <strong>Maggie Mac Neil<\/strong> scratched the event and was a DFS on the morning prelims results.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 100 Freestyle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LSU&#8217;s <strong>Brooks Curry<\/strong> dropped seven tenths of a second from prelims and won the 100 free in 41.86. He bested the Art Adamson Inviational field by a second and put together one of the top swim of the season in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Kaique Alves<\/strong> was second in 42.75, followed by Air Force&#8217;s <strong>Wen Zhang<\/strong> (42.80).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Avery Wiseman<\/strong> put together a strong race to claim the 200 breastroke at the Art Adamson Invitational. The sophomore dropped more than a second to win in 2:06.49.<\/p>\n<p>USC&#8217;s <strong>Isabelle Odger<\/strong>s was second in 2:07.54, ahead of teammate <strong>Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> (2:08.58).<\/p>\n<p>Washington State&#8217;s <strong>Emily Lundgren<\/strong> was fourth in 2:08.94.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Breaststroke<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Alex Sanchez<\/strong> led a 1-2 Aggie finish in the men&#8217;s 200 breaststroke.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Andreas Puente Bustamente<\/strong> took second in 1:51.14.<\/p>\n<p>USC&#8217;s <strong>Chris O&#8217;Grady<\/strong> took third in 1:42.79.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama Olympian<strong> Rhyan White<\/strong> made it a successful and impressive double. After winning the 200 backstroke, White also touched the wall first in the 200 butterfly.<\/p>\n<p>She won the fly in 1:54.36.<\/p>\n<p>It was a close race with the top three within six tenths of a second of each other.<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Olivia Theall<\/strong> took second in 1:54.81, just ahead of USC freshman <strong>Justina Kozan<\/strong> (1:54.91).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 200 Butterfly<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Mateo Miceli<\/strong> dropped two seconds from prelims to win the 200 butterfly by about a second.<\/p>\n<p>Miceli touched the wall in 1:43.50 to finish ahead of USC&#8217;s <strong>Harry Homans<\/strong> (1:44.48).<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Anze Fers Erzen<\/strong> took third in 1:44.59.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women&#8217;s 400 Free Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Kalia Antonious<\/strong> (48.36), <strong>Morgan Scott<\/strong> (48.33), <strong>Diana Petkova<\/strong> (48.49) and <strong>Cora<\/strong> <strong>Dupre<\/strong> (48.74) won the 400 free relay in 3:13.92.<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Jordan Buechler, Bobbi Kennett, Olivia Theall<\/strong> and <strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> took second in 3:15.39.<\/p>\n<p>USC&#8217;s <strong>Hannah Henderson, Anicka Delgado, Justina Kozan<\/strong> and<strong> Kaitlyn Dobler<\/strong> took third in 3:15.85.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s 400 Free Relay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s <strong>Charlie Hawke<\/strong> (42.55), <strong>Kaique Alves<\/strong> (42.67), <strong>Kacper Piotrowski<\/strong> (42.46) and <strong>Matthew Menke<\/strong> (42.23) won the men&#8217;s 400 free in 2:49.91 to close the Art Adamson Invitational.<\/p>\n<p>Texas A&amp;M&#8217;s <strong>Connor Foote, Kaloyan Bratanov, Collin Fuchs<\/strong> and<strong> Baylor Nelson<\/strong> took second in 2:50.20.<\/p>\n<p>LSU&#8217;s <strong>Andrew Garon, Brooks Curry, Noah Cumby<\/strong> and <strong>Griffin Curtis<\/strong> took third in 2:52.97.
