Brookfield East &#8211; 285.5 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Waukesha West\/CathMem &#8211; 196 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. Middleton &#8211; 182.5 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Verona Area &#8211; 144<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meet started off with a bang as Arrowhead\u2019s <\/span><b>Campbell Stoll <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">crushed the DI state record in the 200 IM. Her time of 1:56.37 demolished <\/span><b>Lillie Hosack\u2019s<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> previous mark of 1:58.13 from 2017. Stoll led a sweep in that event for her school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stoll dove back in soon after to win the 100 fly in 51.85, just shy of <\/span><b>Beata Nelson\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">state record of 51.62.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two swimmers broke the state record in the 50 free, but Arrowhead\u2019s <\/span><b>Hailey Tierney <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">got to the wall quicker with a winning time of 21.84. Brookfield East\u2019s <\/span><b>Lucy Thomas <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was also under the old mark in 21.89, ultimately settling for second place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tierney then clinched her second state record of the day in the 100 free, stopping the clock in 48.52. She eclipsed <\/span><b>Katie Drabot\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mark of 48.55 from 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yet another state record fell during the championship, as Brookfield East\u2019s<\/span><b> Maggie Wanezek<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> took down her own mark of 51.59 from a season ago in the 100 back. She won in 51.09.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wanezek\u2019s teammate, <\/span><b>Lucy Thomas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, then went on to erase her own state record in the 100 breast. Her time of 58.89 was well under her previous top time of 1:00.00, also topping the field by four seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brookfield East\u2019s Wanezek (49.58), <\/span><b>Audrey Olen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(50.41), <\/span><b>Reese Tiltmann <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(50.17) and Thomas (48.79) then ended the meet with a state record in the 4&#215;100 free relay, touching the wall in 3:18.95 to lower their old mark of 3:19.32 set in 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waukesha South\/Mukwonago\u2019s <\/span><b>Ella Antoniewski <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was also a double-event winner during the meet. The freshman first won the 200 free in 1:48.07 before going on to clinch the gold medal in the 500 free with a final time of 4:49.75.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the boards, Germantown\u2019s <\/span><b>Kristina Wittmann <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won the 1-meter with a final score of 461.80.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Division II<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2022-wisconsin-girls-d2-state-championships\/high-school\/2022\/November\/12?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>HERE <\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">for full results.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Edgewood &#8211; 350 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Whitefish Bay &#8211; 167 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Ashwaubenon &#8211; 166 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. Baraboo &#8211; 154 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. Rhinelander &#8211; 152<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Edgewood\u2019s <\/span><b>Izzy Enz <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stole the show with a record-breaking performance in the 200 free. Her time of 1:47.64 eclipsed her own DII state record by .01. She then followed that up with a dominant performance in the 500 free, winning that event by seven seconds in 4:49.97.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Brynn Stacey <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was the sole swimmer under the 50-second barrier in the 100 free, giving Edgewood another state title in a time of 49.83, just shy of the record of 49.68.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Led by Stacey (23.38) and Enz (23.16), they joined <\/span><b>Sophie Reed <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(23.27) and <\/span><b>Katie McClure <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(24.24) to set a new state record in the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:34.05.
