Pairing nicely with a smoothie or a banana and yogurt as well, peanut butter toast is a great example of what to eat the morning of competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The complex carbohydrates and easily digestible protein will provide you with the fuel you need to sustain a long day at the pool without making you feel queasy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On top of this, I also found peanut butter toast (especially when accompanied by a mango smoothie) was something I could still stomach before a competition, even when the nerves hit.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Pasta Salad<\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to proper hydration, a whole grain pasta salad with some of your favorite vegetables can be a great midday snack.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And if you prefer to meal-prep before the big weekend, pasta salad is something that can be easily made beforehand and eaten as leftovers throughout the meet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But of course, remember not to overeat and to make sure you leave a proper amount of time in-between races for digestion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because the last thing you want to be worrying about before a big race is your stomach.<\/p>\n<h2>3.
