Germany\u2019s <strong>Cedric Bussing<\/strong> took the third seed in 4:11.76.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 100 butterfly, Sweden\u2019s<strong> Louise Hansson<\/strong> took the top spot in 55.67, holding off USA\u2019s <strong>Alex Shackell<\/strong> (56.81), <strong>Gabi Albiero<\/strong> (57.32) and France\u2019s <strong>Beryl Gastaldello (<\/strong>57.62).<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 50 butterfly, Trinidad and Tobago\u2019s <strong>Dylan Carter<\/strong> took the top spot in 22.44 as he aims to take the overall title. Khan was second in 22.67, doing a quick double, and Germany\u2019s <strong>Marius Kusch<\/strong> took third in 22.67.<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 200 backstroke, USA\u2019s <strong>Jojo Ramey<\/strong> took the top seed in 2:04.36 and will be in the middle of the pool in finals. <strong>Bella Sims,<\/strong> who broke two world junior records on Day 2, took the second seed in 2:04.50, followed by fellow American <strong>Beata Nelson<\/strong> (2:04.54) and Canada\u2019s<strong> Kylie Masse (<\/strong>2:05.44).<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 100 backstroke, Canada\u2019s<strong> Javier Acevedo<\/strong> took the top seed in a loaded field at the FINA World Cup. He touched the wall in 50.42. USA\u2019s <strong>Coleman Stewart<\/strong> was second at 50.54, followed by<strong> Shaine Casas<\/strong> (50.57), Ryan Murphy (50.68) and Poland\u2019s <strong>Kacper Stokowski<\/strong> (50.70).<\/p>\n<p>In the women\u2019s 50 breaststroke, <strong>Lilly King<\/strong> broke 30 seconds to earn the top seed for finals. She finished in 29.96, ahead of Lithuania\u2019s <strong>Ruta Meilutyte<\/strong> (30.36) and Slovakia\u2019s<strong> Andrea Podmankiova<\/strong> (30.59) and Brazil\u2019s<strong> Jhennifer Conceicao<\/strong> (30.75).<\/p>\n<p>In the men\u2019s 200 breaststroke, USA\u2019s<strong> Reece Whitley<\/strong> took the top spot in 2:05.86, holding off the field by nearly a second. Japan\u2019s <strong>Yoshiki Yamanaka<\/strong> took the second seed in 2:06.80, followed by <strong>Brandon Fischer<\/strong> (2:06.93) and <strong>Will Licon<\/strong> (2:07.07).<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 100 free was also stacked at the FINA World Cup stop. Hong Kong\u2019s <strong>Siobhan Haughey<\/strong> and USA\u2019s <strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong> tied for the top seed with swims of 51.86. They were in the same heat and touched together. Australia\u2019s <strong>Madison Wilson<\/strong> took the third seed in 52.15, followed by USA\u2019s <strong>Natalie Hinds<\/strong> (52.31), Poland\u2019s<strong> Kasia Wasick<\/strong> (52.49) and France\u2019s <strong>Beryl Gastaldello<\/strong> (52.71).<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s 200 free saw Lithuania\u2019s <strong>Danas Rapsys<\/strong> take the top seed with a swim of 1:42.63. USA\u2019s <strong>Drew Kibler<\/strong> took the second seed in 1:43.14, followed by Netherlands\u2019 <strong>Luc Kroon<\/strong> (1:43.39), USA\u2019s<strong> Kieran Smith<\/strong> (1:43.43), Australia\u2019s <strong>Kyle Chalmers<\/strong> (1:43.82) and USA\u2019s <strong>Trenton Julian<\/strong> (1:43.92).<\/p>\n<p>The last spot in the finals required a swim-off and<strong> Jake Magahey<\/strong> used a late surge to win that swim-off and reach the finals.<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s 200 IM closed the traditional heats and had a loaded field. Canada\u2019s<strong> Sydney Pickrem<\/strong> touched the wall in 2:08.07, just ahead of USA\u2019s <strong>Leah<\/strong> <strong>Hayes<\/strong> (2:08.12). <strong>Beata Nelson<\/strong> was next at 2:08.78 followed by Canada\u2019s <strong>Bailey Andison (<\/strong>2:09.20), USA\u2019s<strong> Bella Sims<\/strong> (2:08.37), Canada\u2019s <strong>Kelsey Wog<\/strong> (2:08.49), Israel\u2019s<strong> Anastasia Gorbenko<\/strong> (2:09.66) and USA\u2019s<strong> Izzy Ivey<\/strong> (2:10.14).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fina.org\/competitions\/2958\/fina-swimming-world-cup-2022\/results?discipline=&amp;event=fa413c1a-ea69-497f-8c88-914d5fd870af\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Results<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2022 FINA World Cup Indianapolis stop continued on Saturday from the Indiana Natatorium with the last day of prelims.
