With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/world-championships-kaylee-mckeown-times-finish-to-perfection-to-win-200-back-bacon-white-get-usa-2-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">200-meter backstroke World Championships silver medalist<\/a>\u00a0<strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> leading the way, Wisconsin&#8217;s women beat Minnesota 172 to 128, while the Wisconsin men won 181 to 117.<\/p>\n<p>Bacon won the 100 back (54.35) and 200 back (1:55.61) against Minnesota, and she led off a team also consisting of\u00a0<strong>Hazal Ozkan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mallory Jump<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Abby Wanezek<\/strong> to win the 200 medley relay in 1:40.63. Meanwhile,<strong> Abby Carlson<\/strong> won the 200 freestyle (1:48.08) and 100 free (50.56) for Wisconsin, and\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Moore\u00a0<\/strong>swept the 100 breaststroke (1:02.30) and 200 breast (2:13.79).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paige McKenna<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ncaa-womens-championships-paige-mckenna-overcomes-two-torn-labrums-for-breakthrough-1650-free-national-title\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last year&#8217;s NCAA champion in the 1650 free<\/a>, finished on top of the 1000 free in 9:55.51, while\u00a0<strong>Blair Stoneburg<\/strong> took the 500 free (4:49.53) and Jump won the 100 butterfly (54.37).\u00a0Wanezek, Carlson, Stoneburg and\u00a0<strong>Mackenzie McConagha <\/strong>placed first in the 400 free relay in 3:21.66.<\/p>\n<p>For Minnesota, <strong>Megan<\/strong> <strong>Van Berkom<\/strong> won the 200 fly in 1:58.13, and she later touched out Bacon for the win by a mere one hundredth, 2:00.20 to 2:00.21. <strong>Hannah Cornish<\/strong> took first in the 50 free (22.94), and\u00a0<strong>Joy Zhu<\/strong> won 1-meter (301.80) and 3-meter (336.45) diving.<\/p>\n<p>The winning effort for the Wisconsin men was led by\u00a0<strong>Wes Jekel<\/strong>, who recorded wins in the 100 back (47.99), 200 back (1:47.33) and 200 IM (1:47.44).\u00a0<strong>Jude Williams<\/strong> took first in the 1000 free in 9:13.09, and\u00a0<strong>Ben Wiegand<\/strong> went 20.00 for first place in the 50 free.\u00a0<strong>Andrew Benson<\/strong> won the 100 free (44.02), and\u00a0<strong>Jake Newmark<\/strong> went 4:25.60 to win the 500 free. In diving, <strong>Daniel Mueller <\/strong>won 1-meter (312.68). Wisconsin&#8217;s Jekel, <strong>Will Myhre<\/strong>,\u00a0Benson and Wiegand posted a time of 1:26.35 to win the 200 medley relay, and Wiegand, Benson, <strong>Isaac Casey-Hrenak<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Constantin <dfn><\/dfn>Bensch<\/strong> won the 400 free relay in 2:58.23.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the Golden Gophers for a fifth year, NCAA 100 breast champion <strong>Max McHugh<\/strong> was a double winner Friday as he won the 100 breast (53.43) and 200 breast (1:57.51).\u00a0<strong>Kaiser Neverman<\/strong> took the 200 fly (1:46.96) as well as the 100 fly (47.94) while <strong>Bar Soloveychik<\/strong> won the 200 free (1:37.39).\u00a0<strong>Andrew Bennett\u00a0<\/strong>won 3-meter diving (360.30).<\/p>\n<p><a
