The Bears had strong showings throughout the day, taking first and second in all but one race. Highlighting the strong performance was\u00a0<strong><dfn>Destin Lasco<\/dfn><\/strong>\u00a0who won the 200 free (1:36.61) and the 200 breaststroke (1:58.24).\u00a0<dfn><strong>Gabriel Jett<\/strong><\/dfn>\u00a0won 100 back (45.95) and the 400 individual medley (3:54.29).<\/p>\n<p><dfn>Cal&#8217;s<\/dfn><strong><dfn> Dylan Hawk<\/dfn><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong><dfn>Forrest Frazier<\/dfn>\u00a0<\/strong>got the better of each other in their two head-to-head races. Hawk edged Frazier in the 50 free winning with a time of 20.88. Later in the meet, Frazier got the better of Hawk in the 100 fly finishing with a time of 49.90.<\/p>\n<p>In the 500 free Cal&#8217;s <dfn><strong>Jack Meehan<\/strong><\/dfn>\u00a0edged out runner-up\u00a0<strong><dfn>Michael Petrides<\/dfn><\/strong>\u00a0in a terrific race.
