Junior Pan Pac Silver Medalist Anna Moesch Verbally Commits to Virginia For 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>The University of Virginia, the two-time defending NCAA champion, has landed a new verbal commitment from one of the most sought-out recruits in her class in\u00a0Anna Moesch\u00a0<\/strong>of Green Brook, N.J.<\/p>\n

She will join Katie Christopherson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Charlottesville as a member of the Hoos’ Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at the University of Virginia! Thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for their support throughout this process. GO HOOS\"\u270c?\"\"\u2694\ufe0f\"“<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Moesch most recently earned silver in the 50m free at the Junior Pan Pac Championships, also taking ninth in the 100m free.<\/p>\n

Doing her club swimming with Greater Somerset County YMCA, she had a stellar showing at the YMCA LCM Championships this past summer, even breaking the 100m free record<\/a>. Her time of 54.33 moved her up to fourth all-time for the girls’ 15-16 age group. She won the 50m free, 200m free and 400m IM at the meet, too.<\/p>\n

She also earned three gold medals at the YMCA SCY Championships in April and won the 50\/100\/200 free at Juniors East back in December.<\/p>\n
