Penn State, Purdue Lead First Big Ten Weekly Awards of Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

Penn State and Purdue took home two honors each in leading the first Big Ten Weekly Awards of the 2022-23 season.<\/p>\n

Penn State\u2019s Victor Baganha<\/strong> was named the men\u2019s swimmer of the week<\/a>, with freshmen Marciano Lazzerini<\/strong> and Julia Meisner<\/strong> were each recognized as the top rookies. Purdue produced the women\u2019s swimmer of the week<\/a> in Maggie Love,<\/strong> and the men\u2019s diver of the week in Jordan Rzepka.<\/strong> Minnesota\u2019s Joy Zhu<\/strong> was named the women\u2019s diver of the week.<\/p>\n
