NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Kentucky has earned yet another impressive verbal commitment for Fall 2024, this time from\u00a0Bailey O’Regan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Taylor Grimley<\/a> <\/strong>and Emma Finlin <\/strong><\/a>have also announced their commitment to the Wildcats\u2019 Class of 2028.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

“I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Kentucky! Thank you to my coaches, friends and family who supported me throughout this process. I also want to thank the coaches at the UK for this opportunity, I cannot wait to see what the future holds!!! <\/strong><\/span>GO CATS”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

O’Regan trains with Etobicoke Swimming in Canada and Sarasota Sharks in Florida. This past summer, she had five top-15 finishes at Cary Futures, highlighted by a fifth-place showing in the 400m free. She then went on to win the 400m free, 800m free, 1500m free and 4x200m free relay at the Canadian Games, also taking second in the 400m IM and third in the 200m free<\/p>\n

Back in April, she placed eighth in the 1500m free, 12th in the 800m free, 18th in the 400m IM and 20th in the 400m free at Canadian Trials. She also had a stellar showing at the Ontario Junior International last December, earning best times in all her events with four top-1o performances.<\/p>\n
