NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Louisville has officially entered the Class of 2024 recruiting game, recently receiving a verbal commitment from\u00a0Luke Whitlock\u00a0<\/strong>of Noblesville, Indiana.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at the University of Louisville! I want to thank my coaches, family, and teammates for getting me to where I am today. Go Cards!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Whitlock, who trains year-round with Fishers Area Swimming Tigers, most recently earned all best times at Junior Nationals where he finished fourth in the 1500m free, eighth in the 800m free and 11th in the 400m free. Two weeks prior, he achieved four best times in his non-primary events at Indiana LCM Seniors, recording a trio of top-10 finishes.<\/p>\n

The distance ace won the 500 free and mile at Indiana Seniors back in March, also taking second in the 1000 free. He then went on to take fourth in the 1500m free at Indianapolis Sectionals.<\/p>\n
