The men prevailed, 161-78.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/georgia-tech-vs-emory\/ncaa-college\/2022\/October\/1?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meet Results<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ertan won the women\u2019s 400 IM in a time of 4:16.74, the freshman within four seconds of the program record in the event. She also won the 500 free in 4:49.15.<\/p>\n<p>Ertan split 51.80 off the anchor leg of the Yellow Jackets\u2019 A 400 free relay, which was exhibitioned but turned in the top time of 3:29.36. Joining her on that relay were <strong>Zora Ripkova,<\/strong> <strong>Lily Burke<\/strong> and <strong>Brooke Switzer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Switzer won a pair of events in the modified dual meet slate, claiming the 100 and 200 free. Ripkova was second to teammate <strong>McKenzie Campbell<\/strong> in the 200 butterfly, after Campbell had been second in the 400 IM to Ertan. <strong>Allison Brown,<\/strong> the 500 free runner up, had earlier won the 1,00 free. <strong>Claudia Butterfield<\/strong> won the 200 breast, and <strong>Astrid Dirkzwager<\/strong> claimed the 200 back. <strong>Anna Bradescu<\/strong> won both diving events, with teammate <strong>Carmen Woodruff<\/strong> second each time.<\/p>\n<p>Emory got a win via <strong>Taylor Leone,<\/strong> who went 24.09 in the 50 free to outtouch a trio of Georgia Tech freshmen, led by <strong>Sabina Mrzyglod.<\/strong> <strong>Emily Noll<\/strong> was second in the 200 back for the Eagles.<\/p>\n<p>On the men\u2019s side, <strong>Ruben Lechuga<\/strong> made news on the boards by downing the school record in both diving events. The senior from Mexico won with a score of 402.60, the senior downing the program mark set in 2012 by <strong>Brandon Makinson <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ramblinwreck.com\/tech-dominates-emory-in-home-opener\/\">(<\/a>388.50). On 3-meter, he scored 439.58 to down the mark of 424.95 set in 2018 by <strong>Matt Casillas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unlu was the only double winner in the pool. He claimed the 200 free in 1:37.16, then routed the field in the 500 free by more than 12 seconds to win in 4:26.51. Second in the 500 was 1,000 free winner <strong>Mert Kilavuz.<\/strong> <strong>Charles Perks<\/strong> was second in the 1,000 and third in the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nils Bognar<\/strong> (400 IM), <strong>David Gapinski<\/strong> (200 fly), <strong>Berke Saka<\/strong> (200 back) and <strong>Julian Killius<\/strong> (200 breast) added wins for the Yellow Jackets.<\/p>\n<p>Emory won both sprint events courtesy of <strong>Nick Goudie.<\/strong> He went 20.99 to best the field in the 50 free and 46.03 in the 100. <strong>Jeff Echols<\/strong> was second in the 200 fly. <strong>Lucas
