It includes most of the squad that helped the U.S. to 19 gold and 46 total medals at last month\u2019s Junior Pan Pacific Championships.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/results\/2022-23-us-national-junior-team-roster\/international-elite\/2022\/September\/19?rtn=%2Fresults%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The full team roster is here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In total, 61 clubs and 26 states are represented. California leads the way with nine swimmers, while City of Richardson Swim Team in Texas leads the way among club with three swimmers (<strong>Giovanni Linscheer, Levi Sandidge<\/strong> and <strong>Campbell Chase<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Of the 72 athletes, 47 have represented the U.S. internationally; 43 are first-timers. Five swimmers \u2013 <strong>Lucy Bell, Keaton Jones, Justina Kozan, Claire Tuggle<\/strong> and <strong>Natalie Manion<\/strong> \u2013 have been on the National Junior Team for at least the last three years. Kozan and <strong>Maximus Williamson<\/strong> are the only swimmers to qualify in four events each.<\/p>\n<p>Among the team\u2019s headliners are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/a-look-at-the-team-usa-roster-for-the-upcoming-junior-pan-pacific-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Junior Pan Pacs stars<\/a> <strong>Thomas Heilman, Anna Moesch, Zhier Fan<\/strong> and <strong>Maggie Wanazek.<\/strong> A total of 45 swimmers qualified for Olympic Trials in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very excited to welcome the infusion of up-and-coming talent into the National Junior Team Program,\u201d <strong>Erik Posegay,<\/strong> USA Swimming National Junior Team Program Director, said in a USA Swimming press release. \u201cThe \u201822-\u201923 team features numerous medalists from our 2022 Mel Zajac and Junior Pan Pacific Championships teams, as well as some fresh faces ready to make an impact this coming year. It will be exciting to build off our first full year returning to international competition and using that experience to propel us forward to next summer.
