COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, March 13. THE Endless Pool\u00ae Elite is the latest high tech addition to the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, the flagship training center of the U.S. Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n

The facility\u2019s aquatic center, used for instruction and development of Team USA\u2019s world-class swimmers, triathletes and paralympians, now boasts the most advanced counter-current swimming machine available.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited Team USA selected Endless Pools as a new vendor and see this as another validation of our product\u2019s quality and hope it continues to improve the efficacy of our Nation\u2019s athletes,\u201d said Endless Pools founder and President, James Murdock.<\/p>\n

U.S. national open water champion Alex Meyer and his coach Tim Murphy used the Endless Pool in advance of the London 2012 Olympic Games and since then, the pool has become a vital training resource for open water swimmers.<\/p>\n

With a top speed of :51\/100 yards, the Endless Pool Elite\u2019s adjustable current is versatile enough to meet the demands of open water stars and sprinters alike.<\/p>\n

Long used by homeowners for regular swimming and physical fitness, the awareness of Endless Pools has spread to commercial settings, from high school swim programs, to elite university programs to local swim schools.<\/p>\n

What makes the Endless Pool unique is the adjustable current that allows athletes to literally swim in place. With underwater mirror and cameras, immediate feedback is sent to both the swimmer and coach. Coaches enjoy the ability to focus intently on technique and stroke analysis in the closest possible setting, driving faster results.<\/p>\n

The most minute adjustments can shave valuable tenths of seconds off of times\u2014marking the difference between a medal and regret. The Endless Pool Elite magnifies even the slightest of inefficiencies, making it one of the most valuable training tools available for swimmer and coach.<\/p>\n
