{"id":512890,"date":"2022-09-09T13:23:38","date_gmt":"2022-09-09T20:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=512890"},"modified":"2022-09-09T13:23:38","modified_gmt":"2022-09-09T20:23:38","slug":"princeton-tigers-earn-verbal-commitment-from-noah-sech","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/princeton-tigers-earn-verbal-commitment-from-noah-sech\/","title":{"rendered":"Princeton Tigers Earn Verbal Commitment From Noah Sech"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>NEW COMMIT:<\/strong> U.S. Open qualifier Noah Sech of San Clemente, California, will head to the east coast next fall after verbally committing* to Princeton University.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He is set to join <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/princeton-picks-up-2023-verbal-from-cif-state-champion-ethan-harrington\/\"><b>Ethan Harrington<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/princeton-adds-verbal-pledge-from-junior-national-finalist-daniel-li-to-class-of-2027\/\"> <b>Daniel Li<\/b><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in the Tigers\u2019 Class of 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sech does his club swimming with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mission Viejo Nadadores and most recently placed 15th in the 100m breast and 22nd in the 200m breast at Junior Nationals last month after finishing 27th\/28th\/26th in the 100m breast\/200m breast\/400m IM at Phillips 66 Nationals.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">His best times include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">100 breast &#8211; 55.38<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">200 IM &#8211; 1:49.90<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">400 IM &#8211; 4:00.63<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">100 free &#8211; 47.48<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">200 free &#8211; 1:42.13<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Currently a senior at San Clemente High School, Sech finished 12th in the 200 IM at the 2022 CIF State Championships.
