NEXT week\u2019s National Club Swimming Association\u2019s junior national short course championships will be one of its biggest yet, and SwimmingWorld.TV will be at the YMCA International Aquatic Center to bring you live streaming of prelims and finals!<\/p>\n<p>Michael Andrew, who has shredded national age group records in the 13-14 age group all year, will race in the meet for the first time. The 14-year-old professional swimmer is entered in an astounding 14 events, a schedule that would make Hungarian Iron Lady Katinka Hosszu proud. The only events in which he is not entered are the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyles.<\/p>\n<p>Andrew will be looking to run the tables in his quest to own every short course yards record in the 13-14 age group in Orlando. The only ones he doesn\u2019t own are the 200 free and the 200 breast. Maxime Rooney owns the 200 free record with a 1:38.42, but Andrew is in striking range with a 1:39.18 best time. Reece Whitley has the 200 breast record with a 2:00.14, and Andrew will need to drop more than three seconds off his best time of 2:03.31 to lay claim to that mark.<\/p>\n<p>The meet features 50-yard races in butterfly, backstroke and breaststroke. Though USA Swimming does not keep national age group records in those distances for the 13-14 age group, Andrew is among the competitors in those events. Andrew will be coming off the sectional meet in Plantation, Fla., this weekend, where he is likely to set the bar high for himself and others when junior nationals kicks off next week. <\/p>\n<p>Andrew will not be the only national age group record holder at the meet. Simone Manuel, Andrew Seliskar, Townley Haas, Janet Hu, Gunnar Bentz, Kylie Stewart and Matthew Hirschberger will race multiple times in Orlando.<\/p>\n<p>SwimmingWorld.TV will present all races live and <b>free<\/b> on swimmingworld.com and swimmingworld.tv beginning Tuesday at 4 p.m. Eastern time with the timed finals races for the 1000 freestyle, 200 free relay and 200 medley relay. For the remaining four days of the meet, our live stream of prelims begins at 8:30 a.m. featuring two live feeds from the two competition pools used for the morning session.
