The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/as-duel-in-the-pool-approaches-rivalry-clash-provides-an-opportunity-for-rookies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">athletes from the United States<\/a> and Australia will clash in traditional events at the Sydney Aquatic Centre, but the meet will also feature some oddball events designed to add drama and a unique atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>While Skins races similar to those contested during International Swimming League action will be held, there will also be &#8220;broken&#8221; versions of the 400 freestyle and 800 freestyle. Additionally, some relays will include six legs, with three swimmers from each nation handling two legs each. Some relays will be randomly selected in terms of format and stroke, and some individual medley events will be mysteries, with the order of strokes determined prior to the race.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a look at the Duel in the Pool schedule and the variety of events that will be contested.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimming.org.au\/events-results\/events\/duel-in-the-pool-2022\"
